Haircut and Eyebrow question!!!!!!! (i am a guy)?

I am getting a haircut tomorrow since my hair is really long. My bangs cover my eyebrows because they are bushy. I have excess hair underneath them and above them. I tried to trim it but it doesnt work. I just want them to look normal and not be so thick and i want to get a short haircut but i cant because of them. Does anyone have any ideas of how i can fix them and a good hair style that will fit bushy eyebrows without having long bangs. Thanks
