I was kicked out of a college program on a strange technicality, what are the chances I have to appeal?

I would definitely appeal! This man sounds downright rude and unprofessional! I'm sure if you talked to someone who is in charge and told them how this man is acting they would straighten it out. This guy should just be fired. They should be especially considerate because of your good grades, and if you have not had a history of bad behavior, they should be on your side.
