Which branch of the military would u "recommend" I join: Air Force or Marines?

I know their is a big difference between the 2. One is more technical than the other. I like the technicalities of the Air Force, but I was told because of a tattoo, I wouldn't get in. I don't like the Army or Navy so the next in line would be the Marines. I like them because they are well respected and really push u to the limit. I luv training! Can someone give me some advantages/disadvantages to both?
