Would be worth hiring a lawyer and suing Ford?

I brought my car in for repairs and Ford motor co. gave me a loner. I got pulled over because the loaner had no plates and got thrown in jail over night because of a minor technicality with my out of state drivers liscense. Would it be worth getting a lawer and suing Ford for allowing me to drive they're vehicle off the lot without plates?
